Description
The Neuroscience of Mindfulness:
Developing Mental and Emotional Skills to Manage Stress, Increase Performance, and Improve Wellbeing in the Workplace
Friday, March 28
12 - 1:30 pm ET via Zoom
We live in a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous world and it’s normal to experience feelings of stress, overwhelm, and anxiety both at work and in life. The current environment requires us to change our habits and find new, science-based tools to better deal with change and uncertainty.
Mindfulness can help us develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, and self-compassion to skillfully navigate business challenges and difficult emotions. Through formal and informal mindfulness practices we can develop the mental and emotional skills to better adapt, thrive, and stay connected regardless of external circumstances.
This 90-minute interactive workshop where we bridge neuroscience and mindfulness to help you develop these critical human-centered skills:
-
Knowledge about our brain and the negative effects of stress and burnout
-
A brief overview of mindfulness and the neuroscience behind it
-
Experiential mindfulness practices that can be implemented right away to support greater mental clarity, resilience, and well-being in daily life
