Activating Personal Power
Lead Like a Woman Series
Friday, June 7
11:30 am to 1 pm ET
via Zoom

We hope you will register for this three-part series of events that will help you Lead Like a Woman. Led by Julie Zuraw, each session is geared to teach women how to use their power to position themselves for advancement, create opportunities, and establish lasting authority. The Lead Like a Woman program celebrates the value that a female perspective brings to the workplace and the world while acknowledging that to excel and advance in male-dominated industries, women have to learn how "male" communication works and how to maneuver in a way that might not be intuitive to them. The point is to learn to navigate the game while keeping one's female self front and center, and an important outcome of the work is for women to understand that their power ultimately comes from being themselves.

Session 3: Activating Personal Power - This session will help you understand that you are responsible for your success and establishing your own worth. Personal power is essential for advancement as it drives you to seek what you deserve, and when needed, face down abuses of power.

**You must register for each session of the three-part series independently. Register for session 3 here, and click the links below to register for sessions 1 and 2.

Series Presenter

In 2003, Julie left a high-level career in advertising behind to consult directly with business leaders on corporate brand strategy, team-building, and their own leadership challenges. As the Me-Too movement unfolded, she became sought after by female executives in particular, and out of this work Lead Like a WomanTM was born.

Prior to founding The Julie Zuraw Group, Julie was Director of Strategy for the Publicis Brand Optimizations Systems Group, where she built the group’s brand education practice and oversaw global client operations.

She has also been the President and COO of two New York City-based real estate investment, development, and management firms, and currently leads the Thirty Percent Coalition, a group of institutional investors, asset managers, and private equity firms with a combined AUM of $8 trillion, working to increase diversity on corporate boards.

She has been a faculty member in the Columbia University School of Architecture and at Barnard College, where she has taught courses to undergraduate and graduate students.

Julie is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College.
