We invite you to celebrate with The Boston Club and EY as we #InspireInclusion for International Women’s Day 2024. As leaders, we understand that when we can inspire others to value women's inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there is a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment. Each of our panelists for this event has a compelling story of #InspiringInclusion in women of all ages in the areas of sports, arts, healthcare, and leadership. Join us to hear their stories, learn how you can #InspireInclusion, and network with attendees from The Boston Club and EY.
Our panelists for the evening are:
• Divya Chaturvedi, Executive Director, Found in Translation
• Aiyana Currie, Global Head of Business Development, Fidelity Digital Assets
• Andrea Howard, CEO West End House
• Carol Sapoznik, Owner, Olive Connection, & Co-Chair, Women’s Advisory Network, Girl Scouts of Eastern MA

Divya Chaturvedi is the Executive Director of Found in Translation, a nonprofit organization that provides low-income bilingual women an opportunity to achieve economic security through the use of their language skills, and works to reduce racial, ethnic, and linguistic disparities in healthcare by unleashing bilingual talent into the workforce. She brings considerable knowledge and experience working with immigrants and has been a passionate advocate for empowerment of women. Her previous work experience spans across countries in Asia and Africa as well as the United States. She has worked with various nonprofit and international development organizations such as UNDP, UN Woman, Ford Foundation, and the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) managing social impact projects, developing women’s leadership programs, managing large-scale global projects aimed at reducing poverty levels among women, and more.
Prior to joining Found in Translation, Divya served as a Co-Executive Director of a nonprofit serving immigrant survivors of domestic violence. She is a passionate advocate for the inclusion and language access of immigrant women in Massachusetts and has been a speaker at conferences and universities, sharing her knowledge and experience on these critical issues. In recognition of her dedication and commitment to empowering immigrant women, Divya was appointed by the Massachusetts Caucus of Women Legislators to serve as a Commissioner on the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women. She has a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). She also holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice (INP) at Tufts University.

She continues to be a leader in the local cycling community, working towards her own PRs while mentoring junior athletes.

Andrea Howard’s career in youth development began more than 35 years ago and has afforded her the opportunity to work in vibrant communities across the country including Alabama, California, and Florida. In 1999, Andrea returned home to serve as the CEO of West End House (WEH), an independent Boys & Girls Club in the City of Boston. Since then, Andrea has worked in partnership with the Board and a team of outstanding professionals to revitalize this 118-year-old organization, which in 1998 was slated to be dissolved. In February 2020, Andrea successfully closed out the largest fundraising challenge for the WEH—the Expect More Campaign that raised $23.5 million. This campaign enabled the organization to extend services through college graduation; enhance leadership and career development services for teens; renovate and expand the 46,000 ft2facility to include a state-of-the-art performance venue, strengthen the capital position, and more than double the organization’s annual operating budget from $2 million to $5 million in a sustainable manner.
In 2017, Andrea was recognized as the Northeast Region Executive of the Year by Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Andrea currently serves on the National Advisory Committee for the Arts at Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In addition, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Music & Youth Initiative and the Board of Advisors for the Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern Alabama.
